What if I told you Don't Wish Upon A Star because when you do, your dreams become your nightmares!
Here is a dark tale of the consequences of a boy who wished upon the wrong star ........................
Frankie is a 12 year old boy from Maine , Frankie Loves his home in Maine but Frankie is a dreamer and dreams of traveling the world.
Frankie is a orphan and lives in a group home in Belgrade , Maine with 9 other boy's around his age or older then Frankie.
One night after Dinner and showers were done , they group home staff decided to have a movie night and the movie everyone in the house agreed was Walt Disney's Pinocchio.
Frankie had never seen this movie and was excited to watch .
Frankie is amazed by the love that Gepetto showed Pinocchio in the movie .
Frankie thought to himself , " Someday soon I am going to have a family and a dad just like Gepetto !!"
It was bedtime for Frankie , before Frankie got into bed he looked out his window and saw the brightest star he ever saw in the night sky.
Frankie thought to himself , " Maybe if I wish upon this star, my dreams of having a family and a dad like Gepetto could come true!"
So Frankie did wish on that bright star in the night sky .
Frankie wakes up the next morning when hears a group home staff member knocked on his door.
The group home member opens the door and says " Frankie !! wake up bud!!! You got to get ready to leave !"
Frankie confused , says, " Leave? what are talking about ?
The group home staff member says, " Don't be silly Frankie ! The Woods family are here to take you home bud ! "
The group home staff person leaves the room and Frankie can't believe what he just heard.
Frankies remembers the wish he wished on the bright star last night , Frankie jumps up for joy and realizes his wish came true.
Frankie packs up all his stuff and heads downstairs to meet his new family, The Woods.
Mr. Woods introduced himself and his family , " Hey Frankie ! I am Mr. Woods , but you can call me Cypress! This is my wife Aspen, our son Red, and our daughter Willow.
Frankie says, " It is really nice to meet you , I can't wait to get know everyone."
Frankie and Woods put Frankie's stuff in the car and head towards Frankie's new home.
Cypress shows Frankie to his room and tells Frankie that dinner will be ready in a hour.
Frankie unpacks his stuff and notices something strange in his room, no curtains .
Though Frankie finds it odd , he pays it no mind and heads downstairs for dinner .
Frankie sits at the dinner table with the Woods family and Aspen puts this weird salad with some type of seasoning that looked like topsoil .
Cypress notices Frankie's confusion towards the meal and says , " Frankie , we eat healthy meals here, give it a try, you might enjoy it !"
Frankie tries this weird dish and surprisingly likes it .
Later that night Frankie goes to bed and feels something stirring in him but thought it was just his body getting use to the healthy meal he just had.
Frankie wakes up the next morning , something is not right , he's not in his room , he is in the Woods basement !
Frankie feels something cold and damp on his feet , its dirt !
Frankie looks up sees a big lamp above him .
Frankie realizes his hands are tied behind his back,
Frankie screams for help , Cypress and the rest of family come down the basement stairs, but it's not the family Frankie met yesterday.
The Woods Family had Physically changed , they looked like trees! They looked like human sized wooden puppets!
Frankie cried out, " What have you done to me ?!?! " .
Cypress replies , " We are making you a Woods family member!! Don't you want to be part of our lovely family Frankie ? By becoming one of us Frankie , you will live forever ! "
Frankie Cries out again , " This is not what I have wished for !! change me back Cypress!
Cypress smirks and says, " That's Mr. Woods to you son ! You should have not wished upon that star Frankie ! You can join us upstairs when your process is complete ! "
The Woods heads back upstairs and leaves Frankie in the basement .
Frankie puts his head down and thinks to himself , " if only I did not wish upon that star."
So my advice for those who are thinking of wishing upon a star , learn from Frankies mistake , an............. DON'T WISH UPON A STAR!!!
